Camping + Rafting Madness at Sukabumi

I really need to kick-out the mind stress. I spent the weekend 23-24 December in a short adventure in Sukabumi, West Java. Me+friends had a one night camping and rafting at Citarik, Sukabumi …woohoo!  We arrived in Arus Liar camp on Sunday around 3 PM then checked-in the tent camp. Matrass  & sleeping bags, meals-drink-snacks (Sundanese cuisines), clean toilet & shower are the tent facilities in a gorgeous camping ground. No worries of building-up the tent or cooking. There were even a “concierge” aka field manager checking our need regularly. We were enjoying the hilss and rice paddies view so much and listening to the sound of night small creatures was some experience.

The next day at 8 AM was the rafting day on Citarik river…woohoo… We bought a 9 km package and that 2 hours was fun! The 2 guides were very friendly. Next time I should try the 17 km package. The photo captured below was the best moment :p

We bought the camping+rafting vouchers from livingsocial.co.id which gave us a bit lower rate compared to normal tariffs.

Total ‘damage’ cost Rp. 615.750/person, details : 

Transportation : Rp. 95.000 return Bandung-Sukabumi (Citarik)-Bandung by public transportation (bus, angkot and ojek haha...). It took 6 hours from Bandung to get there, so exhausting but the view are awesome.

One night camping package : Rp. 150.000 (max. 4 persons/tent).

Photo album in a CD (optional) shot by photographers while we were on rafting contains 77 photos : Rp. 70.000 (Rp. 200.000/3 persons... blah! again), don’t expect a stunning look but the candid wet-happy-mixed-excited-expression :p

Conclusion, it was a pretty fancy adventurous days. I'm glad it’s a long national holiday weekend because I didn’t have to work on the next  Tuesday. I relaxed at a spa and my messy howm :)
