Sweet Honeymoon Escapes : Bali, Lombok, Yogyakarta, Jakarta

Aah...so this my last blog post labelled Wedding Diary :)

After the wedding, we spent 2 weeks escape to beautiful places in Indonesia. We flied from Bandung to Bali and spent 3 days 2 nights at Amaroossa Hotel visiting Kuta, Uluwatu (gorgeous...), shops, and seafood dinner at Jimbaran beach. Then we took a fast boat to Lombok Island staying at Villa Santosa Hotel at Senggigi Beach area. First day we explored shops in Mataram and had dinner at a local restaurant with Lombok special dish "Ayam Taliwang". Next day was so great, we went to 3 beautiful gilis (islands) : Gili Nanggu, Gili Sudak and Gili Kedis with white sands and turqouise sea water. We were in love with these island...

After Lombok, we were back to Bali and exploring Ubud Bali. We stayed in forestry area DD Ubud Villas and had a fulfilling dinner at Bebek Bengil. Next day we visited Tampak Siring palace, Tegalalang rice terrace with souvenir shops and Kintamani for lunch at Batur Sari Resto. The view of Batur Mountain and Batur Lake was soooo wonderful...

Next early morning we flied again to Yogyakarta and enjoyed the city for a whole day. We visited Candi (temple) Prambanan, Museum Ulen Sentalu, Candi Borobudur and Malioboro street. Unfortunately the Water Castle was already closed that day. We spent one night in a nice hotel Grand Tjokro before flying to our last destination Jakarta.

We arrived in Jakarta in the next afternoon and stayed in Aston Rasuna Apartment for 5 days. In Jakarta we actually in a mission to legalize visa documents but we managed to visit Kebun Raya Bogor by train.
